Dr. Juanita Adkins
Dr. Adkins is dedicated to providing excellent dental care to each and every one of her patients. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2005. Since that time, she has mentored under some of the state’s finest dentist, run several corporate dental practices, run her own practice and started a school for dental assisting. She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education and continues to expand her dental knowledge beyond restorative dentistry to include some procedures in orthodontics, surgical extractions and dental implants.
In 2016, she fulfilled a lifelong ambition by acquiring ownership of both Honey Creek Dental and McDonough Family Dental from two of the area’s finest dentists, Dr. Gilchrist and Dr. McMullen. Dr. Adkins practices dentistry at McDonough Family Dental which has been renamed to JSA Dental Care. Both practices offer the highest standards of dental care.
Dr. Adkins is originally from England and enjoys traveling back to the “Old Country” as often as she can. She has three children, two in college and a wonderful husband. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Edgar H. Gilchrist Jr.
Dr. Gilchrist graduated in 1983 from Emory University School of Dentistry. He then served 3 years as a Captain in the Air Force.
Honey Creek Dental opened in September of 1987 with Dr. McMullen and they later opened McDonough Family Dental in 1990.
Dr. Gilchrist strives to provide quality dentistry for reasonable fees with a conservative approach in treatment provided. With his trained and pleasant staff, he aims to make patients feel comfortable by seeing patients at their scheduled appointed time.
